Our Site
Ashtree Primary Academy is a vibrant, inclusive school nestled in the heart of the Bandley Hill Ward of Stevenage. We are proud of our rich history, strong community ties, and commitment to providing an excellent education for all our pupils.
There has been a school on the site dating back to the 1960s, when the first schools opened with separate infant and junior schools. Over the years, the two schools united, forming the cohesive and thriving educational community we are today. Our large, open campus offers a wealth of outdoor spaces for children to explore, learn, and grow.
We are fortunate to have a spacious site surrounded by a large field and mature trees, providing a peaceful and inspiring setting for learning. Our grounds include extensive outdoor areas where children can enjoy physical activity, social play, and creative outdoor learning. The school is easily accessible by car from Chertsey Rise and by foot from Redwing Close, offering convenience for families in the surrounding areas.
At Ashtree Primary Academy, we understand the importance of providing pupils with a well-rounded educational experience. Our dedicated spaces include:
- A Music Room, where children can explore their musical talents and develop a love of music.
- A well-stocked Library, which supports independent reading and provides a quiet space for learning and discovery.
