Science
At Ashtree Primary Academy, we have planned our curriculum carefully and sequentially to provide students with a strong foundation in biology, chemistry and physics. We want pupils to develop their curiosity for how the world works, learn key scientific facts and build an understanding of the principles of working scientifically.
Whether they are learning about plants, materials or the Solar System, we aim to excite pupils' intellectual curiosity. Through observing demonstrations and hands-on experiments, children learn by conducting their own investigations and learning about key scientific ideas.
Our Science curriculum is enriched via the STEM Discovery Centre and local visits to place such as Fairlands Valley Park.
